Ryan's 2nd Birthday

The big guy is 2! We didn't have a party but Mimi and Boompa came up from Austin and on his birthday we took him to the Dallas World Aquarium. He had BIG fun and loved all the animals. I think the sharks (which we are looking at below) and the lizards were his favorites but he also liked all the fish, flamingos and crocodile.



We had a small "Thomas the Engine" celebration (hence the hat) and Mimi and Boompa got Ryan a new bike for his birthday! I think he thinks it looks cool but he's not too sure what to do with it yet.

Before our Thomas celebration, we took Ryan to Gattitown. And lucky for us they had a choo-choo train. Ryan had to sit in every car but I think he liked the caboose the best. Uncle David joined us for dinner and unfortunately, we made the mistake of sitting in a room playing some kids movie (REALLY loud) Ryan decided was way more interesting than us. We tried to move to another room but Ryan was not having it. So since our entertainment was otherwise occupied, we had to entertain ourselves. The only thing that got him away from the movie was the promise of more choo-choo train.
