Cookies for Santa

We baked cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve which held Ryan's attention for all of about 5 seconds. I think when I said "for Santa" rather than "for Ryan" the excitement was lost. However, he is very into the whole Santa thing. Everything now is "I will ask Santa for it" or "I will ask Santa to open/fix/get it." For example, "I want M m M's (M&M's). No, baby, not before dinner. I will ask Santa for some M m M's." He seems so convinced this will work that I tried it. "I will ask Santa for a money tree." Hmmm...so far the big man hasn't come through.
